Conference Theme: Connecting the Garden, Cafeteria and Classroom
The California Farm to School and Garden Conference will be held March 27-29, 2017, at the Modesto Centre Plaza in Modesto, California. The conference will offer a series of workshops, panels and discussions that will be of significant educational and networking value to attendees. Representatives will be from all facets of the farm to school movement, including farmers, distributors, government representatives, procurement officers, educators, and food program administrators.
- Monday, March 27 Pre-Conference Day: The pre-conference day on Monday offers optional activities and field trips (most for an additional fee) and opportunities to see programs in action. For more information on Pre-Conference activities and costs, click here. Then at 7PM, the conference kicks off with the welcome reception.
- Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29: On Tuesday, there will be a full day of workshops, breakouts and speakers, followed by regional dinners in the evening. On Wednesday, there will be sessions, workshops and speakers, ending at 12:30pm.
Tracks and session information will be added as confirmed.
Registration includes the Monday reception, Tuesday’s lunch and dinner, and Wednesday’s breakfast. Housing is available at the Doubletree Hotel on a limited basis for an additional fee.
