The Trans-Pacific Partnership & U.S. Relations With East Asia And the Pacific

The College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies Dean’s Office and Asian Studies Program at California State University, Sacramento are proud to sponsor a lecture by Matthew Matthews, Deputy Assistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, as part of this year’s Al Qazzaz Dean’s Lecture Series. Mr. Matthews will be in Sacramento on March 28-30 for outreach activities promoting the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a 21st century trade agreement involving the United States and eleven other countries. His travel is part of the White House’s effort to speak with business organizations, universities, and other civic and community groups.
